Never Reaching (2024) serves as the culmination of a series inspired by a recurring dream in which the artist found himself surrounded by towering, surreal rock formations rising above a sea of clouds. In this final vision, a distant tower and its inviting entrance emerge on the horizon—visible but forever out of reach.

The composition captures a sense of longing and quiet resignation. At its center, a tiny figure—just half a centimeter in size—floats on his back in the middle ground. This solitary figure is the artist himself, embodying a moment of surrender. Having accepted the futility of reaching the distant structure, he turns instead to the fleeting beauty of the dreamscape, fully aware of its impermanence.
