Viceroy over Mississippi (2025)
The Winged Rivers introductory exhibition label was a work of art on its own and will be adapted into a painting on wood panel, joining others within the series. Entitled "Viceroy Over Mississippi" (2025), the work features the abstracted wing pattern of a native Viceroy butterfly intertwined with the Mississippi River, beginning at its point nearest the exhibition (in New Orleans' Lower Garden District).

A commissioned landscape, A Sky for Pelicans (2025) is a Post-Impressionist style landscape that depicts the marshlands immediately north of Lake Pontchartrain, Louisiana, during a dramatic sunset-l did not make the pelicans, just their environment.
