an ongoing series that explores the poetic intersections of Louisiana's river systems and its native butterflies.
aerial views of waterways are integrated into wing structures, producing abstract compositions that merge geography with the symmetry of pollinators. in combining these natural elements, the works highlight fragile ecologies while reimagining the landscape in symbolic and unexpected ways.
