This painting includes a 1.438 in. (3.653 cm) profile wood frame in antiqued black with grey-green wash and embossed acanthus leaf details.

On a particularly rainy day, while stopped at the light at Marconi Street and City Park Avenue, I glanced to my left and noticed the long limbs of live oaks resting in growing puddles along the neutral ground. 

The rainwater streamed down my window in vein-like rivulets, seeming to intertwine with the branches outside. 

At that moment, an idea took shape—a composition built on layered dimensions, where limbs and rivers exist in harmony, complementing one another.
